COVID
Covid has caused chaos around the world, and continues to have a long lasting affect in PNG making it more complicated for travel there at the moment. Currently we are working with our flight carriers as they work to open up the region again including ensuring all small and remote region runways are up to civil aviation standards. We are keeping an eye on how things settle down before we tie down our next expedition dates. But the plan is to start to ramp things up again at the beginning of 2024.

GETTING THERE
The beauty of PNG is its isolation, which can be an issue when it comes to getting there. It is for this reason that we have on our own private charter flights from Cairns. Time is so important when holidaying and our ATR42 does the trip safely to our local all weather runway in two and a half hours. Compared to the minimum four days of travel return with commercial carriers, the charter is a dream.
